a life in music
Originally from San Francisco, CA, I am currently living in Philadelphia, PA and perform as Principal Viola of the Pennsylvania Ballet and as a Violinist with the Philly Pops. I have also performed with the San Francisco Ballet Orchestra, Santa Rosa Symphony, Santa Cruz Symphony and Opera San Jose. I was a founding member of the Axiom Quartet (Houston, TX), Concertmaster of the National Tour of Phantom of the Opera, awarded a fellowship with the New World Symphony and performed with the Indianapolis and Houston Symphonies. I studied at Indiana University and Rice University and have a Bachelors of Music and a Masters of Music Degree in Violin Performance with a cognate in Violin Pedagogy. I have studied with some of the world's finest violinists and teachers including, Alexander Kerr, Miriam Fried, Kenneth Goldsmith, Zoya Leybin and Pedagogy with Mimi Zweig and Brenda Brenner and Suzuki Violin with Carrie Reuning-Hummel and Doris Preucil.
